Hosted alongside the Indian Gaming Association’s annual event, this gathering brings Tribal Nations and First Nations representatives together to share insights, exchange expertise, and build meaningful connections — with each other and with industry partners from across the sector.
 
The Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention — running March 30–April 2 at the San Diego Convention Center — is the largest gathering of tribal leaders and casino executives in North America. Organized by the Indian Gaming Association, a non-profit organization of sovereign tribal nations, the Tradeshow brings together leaders, operators, regulators, and advocates for four days of education, networking, and celebration of a proud tradition of self-reliance and success. The Six Nations Gaming Commission supports and participates in the event as part of its ongoing commitment to bridging Tribal Nations across the United States and First Nations across Canada — aligning on shared regulatory experiences and ensuring First Nations governance voices remain present in the broader gaming conversation.
 
The evening gathering at the Hard Rock Hotel – The Edge is the Commission’s way of extending that hand directly. Over free drinks and appetizers, representatives will have the opportunity to connect, compare notes on compliance frameworks, explore partnerships, and put faces to names known only across jurisdictions.

That spirit of connection runs deep for Six Nations. Haudenosaunee gaming traditions stretch back centuries — long before provincial regulators, long before formalized governance. Games were understood as gifts from the Creator, carrying social, ceremonial, and spiritual significance. The Six Nations Gaming Commission, established in 1996, placed formal governance around something that has always belonged to the Haudenosaunee people. This gathering is an extension of that same tradition: a Nation extending an arm toward stronger relationships in gaming, now doing so on an international stage.
